The Champions Network is a formation of men who desire to grow in their relationship with God and become more fully equipped in ministering to men. It is grounded in biblical and men's relational resources that will train and prepare men toward being commissioned as a “Minister to Men.” Every man has a champion within him. Discovering what that champion looks like and how to bring it out is the challenge. Ohio HonorBound Director John Wooten was commissioned a Champion on March 12, 2004. Our goal is to be more like Jesus “And the child grew and became strong; he was filled with wisdom, and the grace God was upon him” (Luke 2:40 ). The Vision: Reach Every Family in America, One Man at a Time Champions Network desires to bring the Father back to the family. A fatherless vacuum in the family has led to a moral and spiritual decay in the hearts of men. Thirty-six percent of children live absent from their father in America Only one out of every 18 men in America is being discipled Men reached for Christ will win their entire family to Christ over 90 percent of the time “ By building a network of men who minister to men, we accomplish far more than we ever could alone. The exponential growth potential of a network of this kind can do much to further the kingdom of God, reach families and turn the pendulum of America back to biblical values and discipleship. Too many children go to bed at night, absent their biological father; too many moral failures of leaders and men are occurring; too many marriages are ending in divorce; loneliness and depression are becoming an epidemic spread throughout men. It is time to change this trend. By committing ourselves to God and becoming equipped to be used by God, we can reach men through discipleship and bring men, families and America back to God.” —Chuck Brewster, National Director of HonorBound Click Here For more Information |
